If you've never been to a Beautiful Sunday event at the Esplanade, I encourage you to give it a try. I love the venue (Esplanade Concert Hall) which is just the right size, with very comfortable seating. And I find it relaxing to spend a Sunday afternoon listening to and appreciate the talent of local musicians.

The performances for this event were a bit uneven, with some great segments, some not-so-great and a couple of pieces in the middle that I thought could benefit from better arrangements. I enjoyed the pieces that were arranged with mainly harmonica more rather than those with keyboard, drums and other instruments added in. Overall,illuminating since this is the first time I've been to a harmonica concert.
